Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And ease for me my task 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 (That) they may understand my word; 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron my brother 30 "Increase my strength with him, 31 and let him share my task 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 And much remember Thee. 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 when We revealed Our will to your mother, saying, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 And I produced you for Myself. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 (The Lord) said: "Be not afraid. I am verily with you, and I hear and see. 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 [But when God's message was conveyed unto Pharaoh,] he said: "Who, now, is this Sustainer of you two, O Moses?" 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat and pasture your cattle: verily therein are signs for men of sagacity. 54
