And Aaron indeed had told them beforehand: O my people! Ye are but being seduced therewith, for lo! your Lord is the Beneficent, so follow me and obey my order. 90 They said, “We will continue to squat* before it, till Moosa returns to us.” (* Continue worshipping it.) 91 But (Moses) said: "O Aaron, when you saw that they had gone astray, what hindered you 92 “That you did not come after me? So did you disobey my order?” 93 He [Harun (Aaron)] said: "O son of my mother! Seize (me) not by my beard, nor by my head! Verily, I feared lest you should say: 'You have caused a division among the Children of Israel, and you have not respected my word!' " 94 Moses said: "What, then, is your case, O Samiri?" 95 He said: I perceived what they perceive not, so I seized a handful from the footsteps of the messenger, and then threw it in. Thus my soul commended to me. 96 [Moses] said, "Then go. And indeed, it is [decreed] for you in [this] life to say, 'No contact.' And indeed, you have an appointment [in the Hereafter] you will not fail to keep. And look at your 'god' to which you remained devoted. We will surely burn it and blow it into the sea with a blast. 97 Your Ilah (God) is only Allah, the One (La ilaha illa Huwa) (none has the right to be worshipped but He). He has full knowledge of all things. 98 Thus We relate to you (O Muhammad SAW) some information of what happened before. And indeed We have given you from Us a Reminder (this Quran). 99 Whoso turneth away from it, he verily will bear a burden on the Day of Resurrection, 100 [Abiding] eternally therein, and evil it is for them on the Day of Resurrection as a load - 101 The Day the Horn will be blown. And We will gather the criminals, that Day, blue-eyed. 102 They shall whisper among themselves: "You stayed on the earth barely ten days." 103 We know best what they will say, when their leader most eminent in conduct will say: "Ye tarried not longer than a day!" 104
