They ask thee concerning the Mountains: say, "My Lord will uproot them and scatter them as dust; 105 "Then He shall leave it as a level smooth plain. 106 You will not see therein a depression or an elevation." 107 On that day they will follow their caller without deviation. Their voices will be low in the presence of the Beneficent God. You will hear nothing but the tread of the marching feet. 108 On that Day intercession shall not avail save of him whom the Most Compassionate Lord permits, and whose word of intercession is pleasing to Him. 109 He knows all that is ahead of them and all that is behind them, while the others do not know. 110 ۞ And the faces shall be humbled before the Living, the Self-subsistent Allah, and he who bears iniquity is indeed a failure. 111 But he who does of righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation. 112 And thus have We sent it down an Arabic Quran, and have distinctly set forth therein of threats that they may guard (against evil) or that it may produce a reminder for them. 113 Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. 114 And indeed We made a covenant with Adam before, but he forgot, and We found on his part no firm will-power. 115
