Yet those who disbelieve say: When we have become dust like our fathers, shall we verily be brought forth (again)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Verily your Lord is gracious to men, though most men are ungrateful. 73 Surely, your Lord knows what they hide in their hearts and what they reveal. 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
