Ask them, "Who can protect them from (the wrath of) the Beneficent God during the night and day?" Yet they are neglectful about their Lord. 42 Do they have any gods who would protect them against Us? They have no power even to help themselves; nor do they enjoy Our support. 43 Nay, but Ourselves gave these and their fathers enjoyment of days, until their life had lasted long while upon them. What, do they not see how We come to the land, diminishing it in its extremities? Or are they the victors? 44 Say: "I am warning you by God's command." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. 45 But if just a breath of your Lord's punishment were to touch them, they would say: 'Woe for us, we were harmdoers' 46 And We shall set up the just balances for the Resurrection Day, so that not one soul shall be wronged anything; even if it be the weight of one grain of mustard-seed We shall produce it, and sufficient are We for reckoners. 47 And assuredly We vcuchsafed unto Musa and Harun the distinction and illumination and an admonition for the God-fearing. 48 such as fear God in the Unseen, trembling because of the Hour. 49 This is a Blessed Admonition that We have revealed. Are you, then, going to reject it? 50
