Say: Who guards you by night and by day from the Beneficent Allah? Nay, they turn aside at the mention of their Lord. 42 Do they have any gods who would protect them against Us? They have no power even to help themselves; nor do they enjoy Our support. 43 Nay, We generously provided them and their fathers, and they enjoyed Our provision for long. Do they not see that We are now advancing into their territory, diminishing it from different sides? Is it they, then, who will triumph?" 44 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I warn you only by the revelation (from Allah and not by the opinion of the religious scholars and others). But the deaf (who follow the religious scholars and others blindly) will not hear the call, (even) when they are warned [(i.e. one should follow only the Quran and the Sunnah (legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements of Prophet Muhammad SAW, as the Companions of the Prophet SAW did)]. 45 Were only the slightest whiff from your Lord's punishment to touch them, they would cry out: "Woe to us; we were indeed wrong-doers." 46 And We shall set up the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection – therefore no soul will be wronged in the least; and if a thing is equal to a grain of mustard seed, We will bring it; and We are Sufficient to (take) account. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the Salvation and a Radiance, and a Remembrance for the godfearing 48 such as fear God in the Unseen, trembling because of the Hour. 49 And this is a blessed Remembrance that We have sent down; so are you now denying it? 50
