Say: 'Who will guard you, by night and by day from the Merciful' But no, they turn away from their Lord's remembrance. 42 Do they have any gods who would protect them against Us? They have no power even to help themselves; nor do they enjoy Our support. 43 Nay, We have allowed these [sinners] - as [We allowed] their forebears - to enjoy the good things of life for a great length of time: but then - have they never yet seen how We visit the earth [with Our punishment,] gradually depriving it of all that is best thereon? Can they, then, [hope to] be the winners? 44 Say, "I only warn you by revelation." But the deaf do not hear the call when they are warned. 45 And if a blast of the chastisement of your Lord were to touch them, they will certainly say: O woe to us! surely we were unjust. 46 And We shall set balances of justice for the Day of Judgment; then no soul shall be wronged at all; and if it be but the weight of a grain of mustard-seed We shall bring it; and We suffice as Reckoners. 47 And indeed We gave Moosa and Haroon the Judgement* and a light and an advice for the pious. (* The Holy Book Taurat.) 48 those who fear Allah in the Unseen, tremble because of the Hour. 49 And this is a blessed Reminder which We have revealed; will you then deny it? 50
