AND AS FOR those who forsake the domain of evil (and strive) in God's cause, and then are slain or die - God will most certainly provide for them a goodly sustenance [in the life to come] for, verily, God - He alone - is the best of providers; 58 He will surely admit them to a resort which will please them. Most certainly Allah is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing. 59 ۞ That (shall be so); and he who retaliates with the like of that with which he has been afflicted and he has been oppressed, Allah will most certainly aid him; most surely Allah is Pardoning, Forgiving. 60 Thus it is, because God [is almighty the One who] makes the night grow longer by shortening the day, and makes the day grow longer by shortening the night; and because God is all-hearing, all-seeing. 61 That is because Allah is the Truth, and falsehood is all that they call upon, other than Him. Allah is the Most High, the Most Great. 62 Did you not see that Allah sent down water from the sky, so the earth became green at morn? Indeed Allah is Pure, Aware. 63 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: for verily Allah,- He is free of all wants, Worthy of all Praise. 64
