Seest thou not that Allah has made subject to you (men) all that is on the earth, and the ships that sail through the sea by His Command? He withholds the sky (rain) from failing on the earth except by His leave: for Allah is Most Kind and Most Merciful to man. 65 It is He who gave you life, then He shall make you dead, then He shall give you life. Surely man is ungrateful. 66 For each nation We have made the rules of worship for them to follow – so never should they quarrel with you in this matter – and call them towards your Lord; indeed you are upon the Straight Path. 67 And if they should dispute with thee, do thou say, 'God knows very well what you are doing. 68 On the Day of Resurrection, God will judge between you regarding your differences. 69 Do you not know that God has knowledge of what the heavens and the earth contain? All is recorded in a Book; all this is easy for God. 70 Yet they worship in place of God that for which no authority has been sent to them, and of which they have no knowledge. The wicked will have none to help them. 71 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval. They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, "Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allah has promised those who disbelieve, and wretched is the destination." 72
