The unbelievers say, 'What, when we are dust, and our fathers, shall we indeed be brought forth? 67 "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
