Beholdest thou not that Allah hath subjected to Himself for you whatsoever is on the earth and the ships running in the sea by His command? And He withholdeth the heaven that it fall not on the earth save by His leave. Verily Allah is, unto mankind, Clement, Merciful. 65 And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful. 66 We have appointed for every nation a holy rite that they shall perform. Let them not therefore wrangle with thee upon the matter, and do thou summon unto thy Lord; surely thou art upon a straight guidance. 67 And if they argue with you (as regards the slaughtering of the sacrifices), say; "Allah knows best of what you do. 68 Allah will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning what you dispute. 69 Didst thou not know that God knows all that is in heaven and earth? Surely that is in a Book; surely that for God is an easy matter. 70 They worship things instead of God that have received no authority (from the heavens) nor have they any knowledge of such authority. The unjust people will have no one to help them. 71 Whenever Our clear revelations are recited to them, you will recognize the disgust on the faces of those who deny the truth. It is almost as if they are going to attack those who recite Our message to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something worse than this? It is the Fire that God has promised to those who are bent on denying the truth. What an evil destination!" 72
