The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Successful indeed are the believers; 1 Those who humble themselves in their prayers; 2 Who avoid vain talk; 3 and who are intent on inner purity; 4 And who guard their modesty - 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 Those who are faithfully true to their Amanat (all the duties which Allah has ordained, honesty, moral responsibility and trusts etc.) and to their covenants; 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 who will inherit Paradise; they shall live there for ever. 11 We created the human from an essence of clay: 12 Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, 13 Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. 14 Thereafter you will certainly die 15 Then you will all be raised on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven heavens above you and have never been neglectful to Our Creation. 17 And We send down water from the cloud according to a measure, then We cause it to settle in the earth, and most surely We are able to carry it away. 18 Then We produce for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you and whereof ye eat; 19 And a tree (olive) that springs forth from Mount Sinai, that grows oil, and (it is a) relish for the eaters. 20 In the cattle, too, is a lesson for you. We let you drink of that which is in their bellies, and there are many benefits in them for you, and you eat of them, 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
