The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Triumphant indeed are the believers, 1 those who humble themselves in their prayer, 2 who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous; 3 who give charity, 4 and guard their private parts 5 Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed - 6 So whoever desires more than these two – they are crossing the limits. 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And those who strictly guard their (five compulsory congregational) Salawat (prayers) (at their fixed stated hours). 9 It is they, they who shall be the inheritors 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 We created man of an extraction of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him of a sperm in a receptacle safe. 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Thereafter you are destined to die, 15 Then verily on the Day of Judgment ye shall be raised up. 16 And certainly We made above you seven heavens; and never are We heedless of creation. 17 We have sent a measure of water from the sky to stay on earth and We have the power to take it away. 18 So with it We produced gardens of date-palms and grapes for you, in which is abundant fruit for you and you eat therefrom. 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 And lo! in the cattle there is verily a lesson for you. We give you to drink of that which is in their bellies, and many uses have ye in them, and of them do ye eat; 21 and upon them and on the ships you are carried. 22
