The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 those who, in their Prayers, humble themselves; 2 who turn away from idle talk; 3 and at almsgiving are active 4 who guard their privates, 5 Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess, for they surely are not blameable, 6 As for those who seek beyond that, they are transgressors" 7 Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants; 8 and who observe their prayers. 9 These are the real gainers, 10 Who shall inherit Paradise; therein they shall be abiders. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 Then We placed him as a sperm in a firmly established lodging; 13 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then after that, certainly all of you are to die. 15 and you will be brought back to life again on the Day of Resurrection. 16 And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware. 17 We sent down water from the sky in right measure, and caused it to stay in the earth, and We have the power to cause it to vanish (in the manner We please). 18 Then We produced for you therewith gardens of palms and vines wherein are many fruits for you, and of them you eat, 19 Also a tree springing out of Mount Sinai, which produces oil, and relish for those who use it for food. 20 And Verily! In the cattle there is indeed a lesson for you. We give you to drink (milk) of that which is in their bellies. And there are, in them, numerous (other) benefits for you, and of them you eat. 21 And on them and on the ship ye are carried. 22
