Messengers! Eat of that which is good and do good deeds; I have knowledge of the things you do. 51 “And indeed this religion of yours is one religion only and I am your Lord, therefore fear Me.” 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Verily, [only] they who stand in reverent awe of their Sustainer, 57 And they who believe in the signs of their Lord 58 Those who join not (in worship) partners with their Lord; 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 And We charge no soul except [with that within] its capacity, and with Us is a record which speaks with truth; and they will not be wronged. 62 On the contrary, their hearts are in neglect of this and their works are different than those of the believers, the works that they are doing. 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or is it that they did not recognize their Messenger (Muhammad SAW) so they deny him? 69 or you said that he is possessed by satan? In fact, he has brought you the truth, but most of you dislike it. 70 Had the truth followed their fancies, the heavens, the earth, and all who live in them would have surely been corrupted. No, We brought them their Remembrance; but from their Remembrance they turn away. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And verily thou! thou callest them unto a Path straight. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We seized them with the punishment, but they did not surrender to their Lord, nor will they humble themselves 76 Until when We shall open upon them a portal of severe torment, and lo! thereat they are desparing. 77
