Surely We have sent down the Koran on thee, a sending down; 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 Mention the Name of your Lord, mornings and evenings. 25 And during part of the night adore Him, and give glory to Him (a) long (part of the) night. 26 Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave Day. 27 It is We Who created them, and We have made them of strong built. And when We will, We can replace them with others like them with a complete replacement. 28 Lo! this is an Admonishment, that whosoever will may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 But your willing shall be of no avail until Allah Himself so wills. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, Most Wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
