And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 And it is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 “Indeed this promise was given to us and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of earlier people.” 83 Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!" 84 [And they will reply: "Unto God." Say: "Will you not, then, bethink yourselves [of Him]?" 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will say, "(They belong) to Allah." Say: "Will ye not then be filled with awe?" 87 Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?" 88 They will say, "All this belongs to God." Say to them, "How are you then deluded?" 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 Knower of the unseen and the seen, Exalted is He above that which they associate! 92
