It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 And it is He Who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 But nay, they speak as the people of olden times did speak: 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: Whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know? 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say, "Who is Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 In fact We have sent the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not taken any son, nor has there ever been with Him any deity. [If there had been], then each deity would have taken what it created, and some of them would have sought to overcome others. Exalted is Allah above what they describe [concerning Him]. 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
