▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 They will recline upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruits of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In them are fruits (of all kinds), and dates and pomegranate. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 71 Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; 72 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 73 Whom no man or Jinn before them has touched;- 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
