It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 He is the One who gives life and causes death and He controls the alternation of night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 They say exactly the same thing as the people who lived before. 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say: 'Whose is the earth, and whoso is in it, if you have knowledge?' 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: "Who is it that sustains the seven heavens and is enthroned in His awesome almightiness?" 86 They will surely say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not, then, fear (Allah)?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Rather, We have brought them the truth, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The All Knowing, of every hidden and the visible – so Supremacy is to Him over their ascribing of partners (to Him). 92
