And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say: When we are dead and have become (mere) dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised again? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
