Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
