The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
