It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 they say: "What! After we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say: "If you have knowledge, 'to whom belongs the earth' and, 'whoever is in it? '" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say: "Allah." Say: "Will you not then fear Allah (believe in His Oneness, obey Him, believe in the Resurrection and Recompense for each and every good or bad deed)." 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: How then are ye bewitched? 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him! 92
