Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 Say: "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the evil promptings of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 When the trumpet blast is sounded no ties of lineage will hold among them, nor will they ask after one another. 101 It will be an Hour when those whose scales are heavy, they alone will attain success; 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say: O my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 118

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
