Pray, “My Lord! If You show me the promise they are given,” 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter. 96 And pray: "My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the suggestions of the evil ones; 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Among My servants, there were those who said, "Lord, We believe, so forgive us and have mercy on us. You are the best one to show mercy." 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]." 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will reply: 'A day, or part of a day; ask those who have kept count' 113 [Whereupon] He will say: "You have spent there but a short while: had you but known [how short it was to be]! 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
True are the words of God the Almighty.
