Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and covered them with torment. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him. (Command of Prostration # 12) ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
