Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in Thee, my Lord, lest they be present with me, 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 [Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 Now Allah be Exalted, the True King! There is no Allah save Him, the Lord of the Throne of Grace. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
