Pray, (O Muhammad): "My Lord, if You should bring the scourge of which they had been warned in my presence, 93 exclude me from the unjust people". 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 Until, when death cometh unto one of them, he saith: My Lord! Send me back, 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Then he whose balances shall be heavy - these! they are the blissful ones. 102 but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. 103 The fire lashes their faces and therein are shriveled lips. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 Our Lord! Take us out of this. Then if we revert (to evil-doing) we shall indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. 108 "A part of My servants there was, who used to pray 'our Lord! we believe; then do Thou forgive us, and have mercy upon us: For Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 109 "You mocked and laughed at them until you forgot all about Me. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 He shall say, 'How long have you tarried in the earth, by number of years?' 112 They will say, “We stayed a day or part of a day, so ask those who keep count.” 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 Then, exalted be God, the true King, there is no deity except Him, the Lord of the Glorious Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
