Blessed is He who, if that were His will, could give thee better (things) than those,- Gardens beneath which rivers flow; and He could give thee palaces (secure to dwell in). 10 They deny the Hour of Doom so We have prepared for them a burning fire. 11 When it will see them from afar, they will hear the sounds of its raging and roaring. 12 And when they are chained together and flung into a narrow space therein, they will begin to call for death. 13 (Then it will be said to them:) "Do not call for one death today, but call for many deaths." 14 Say: "Which is better - that, or the paradise of life abiding which has been promised to the God-conscious as their reward and their journey's end 15 Theirs therein shall be all that they wish for, as abiders; a promise from thy Lord to be asked for. 16 And on the Day whereon He will gather them and that which they worship beside Allah and will say: are ye the ones who sent astray these My bondmen; or strayed they themselves from the way? 17 They will say; hallowed be Thou! it behoved us not that we should take beside Thee any patron, but Thou allowedest them and their fathers enjoyment until they forgat the admonition, and they were a people doomed. 18 So they belie what you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Those of you who have done evil, We let them taste a great punishment. 19 And We never sent before you (O Muhammad SAW) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything). 20
