We have prepared a Fire for those who deny the Resurrection. 11 When it will see them from afar, they will hear the sounds of its raging and roaring. 12 When they are thrown into a narrow space, chained together, they will plead for death. 13 Call not this day for one destruction, but call for destructions many. 14 Say: "Which is better - that, or the paradise of life abiding which has been promised to the God-conscious as their reward and their journey's end 15 Living there for ever, they shall find in it all that they desire. It was not for us to take any Auliya' (Protectors, Helpers, etc.) besides You, but You gave them and their fathers comfort till they forgot the warning, and became a lost people (doomed to total loss). 18 Thus will your gods deny alI that you are professing today. Then you shall neither be able to repel your punishment nor shall get any help from anywhere; and whoso is guilty. of iniquity'' among you, We shall make him taste a severe torment. 19 And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing. 20
