HALLOWED is He who has set up in the skies great constellations, and has placed among them a [radiant] lamp and a light-giving moon. 61 And it is He Who hath appointed the night and the day a succession, for him who desireth to consider or desireth to be grateful. 62 And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace, 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 Who say: 'Our Lord, turn from us the punishment of Gehenna, for its punishment is the most terrible; 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 The punishment shall be increased for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation. 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly, 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
