The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 [But We have not willed it:] and so, whenever there comes unto them any fresh reminder from the Most Gracious, they [who are blind of heart] always - turn their backs upon it: 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
