The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
