The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So, they belied, but surely the tidings of that they mocked will come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
