The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, that how many honourable pairs We have created in it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Verily Your Lord is Infinitely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 9
