The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have surely belied; wherefore anon there shall come unto them the truth of that whereat they were wont to mock. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
