The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed rejected (the truth), therefore the news of that which they mock shall soon come to them. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
