The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are the Verses of the manifest Book [this Quran, which was promised by Allah in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear]. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 They have called (our revelation) lies. They will soon learn the consequences of what they mocked. 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 9
