The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 But if We had so willed, We could have sent down to them a sign from the heavens so that their heads would be bowed down before it in utter humility. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
