The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 In this, behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 8 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 9
