When your Lord called out to Moses, saying, "Go to the wrongdoing people, 10 The people of Pharaoh. Will they not fear and take heed?" 11 He replied, "Lord, I am afraid that they will call me a liar. 12 And I shall be embarrassed, and my tongue will not speak plainly, therefor send for Aaron (to help me). 13 As for me, they hold the charge of a crime against me. I fear they will put me to death." 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 Let the children of Israel go with us!'" 17 [But when Moses had delivered his message, Pharaoh] said: "Did we not bring thee up among us when thou wert a child? And didst thou not spend among us years of thy [later] life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 He said: I did it then while I was of those unable to see the right course; 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 The Pharaoh asked: "And what is the Lord of all the worlds?" 23 Moses replied, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if you want to be certain". 24 Said [Pharaoh] unto those around him: "Did you hear [what he said]?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 The Pharaoh said, "The Messenger who has been sent to you is certainly insane". 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 He said: What! even if I bring to you something manifest? 30 (The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth." 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
