And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 “The nation of Firaun; will they not fear?” 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 And my breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me); 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily! We shall be with you, listening. 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 Send forth with us the Children of Israel' 17 The Pharaoh said, "Did we not bring you up in our home as an infant and did you not live with us for many years 18 Yet you were ungrateful and have done the deed you did' 19 He said: I did it then, when I was of those who are astray. 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 Is this then the blessing with which you reproach me, that you have the Children of Israel for worshipers' 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 Said Moosa, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; if you believe.” 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 Moses said: "(He is) Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers of yore." 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 'He is the Lord of the East and the West' said he (Moses), 'and all that is between them, if you could understand' 28 Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned. 29 He said, 'What, even though I brought thee something so manifest?' 30 (Pharaoh) said: Produce it then, if thou art of the truthful! 31 So he cast down his rod, and lo! it was an obvious serpent, 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
