Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 and the smooth runners 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 surely that you are promised is true, 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 and who wander in the abyss of confusion. 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 In whose wealth the suppliant and the deprived had a share. 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23
