(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people, 10 The people of Firon: Will they not guard (against evil)? 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 besides, they accuse me of a crime, and I fear that they may put me to death." 14 He said: 'Never so, go both of you with Our signs; We shall be with you, listening 15 "And when you both come to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), say: 'We are the Messengers of the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 16 let the Children of Israel go with us!'" 17 [Pharaoh] said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and you remained among us for years of your life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 Moses replied: "I committed that act erringly. 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 And this is the past favour wherewith thou reproachest me: that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel. 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 (Moses) said: Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if ye had but sure belief. 24 'Do you not hear' said he (Pharaoh) to those around him. 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Said he: Most surely your Apostle who is sent to you is mad. 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 [Pharaoh] said, "If you take a god other than me, I will surely place you among those imprisoned." 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!" 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
