۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 we are a large and watchful force." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought the others close to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
