۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave the gardens and springs of water, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
