۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 Verily these are but a band small. 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and agreeable mansions. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
