۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
