3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 treasures, and graceful dwellings. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and when the groups came face to face, the companions of Moses cried out: "We are overtaken!" 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
